We provide specialized swim lessons for children of all abilities in South Florida, including those on the autism spectrum or with other special needs. Our goal is simple: help every child learn to swim safely, confidently, and at their own pace.

Founder/Swim Coach

Founded by Registered Behavior Technicians with years of experience in ABA services, Play Strong was created to address a critical need in our community. Children on the autism spectrum are significantly more likely to drown than their neurotypical peers. Research shows that drowning accounts for approximately 91% of all deaths in children with autism due to wandering and attraction to water (National Autism Association).

Our Approach to Adaptive Swim Lessons

While our lessons are not a form of therapy, our experience allows us to use behavior-based strategies, individualized supports, and positive reinforcement techniques to help children of all abilities learn safely and confidently in the water. Every lesson is tailored to your child's unique needs, building:

Our instructors are trained in behavior support strategies to help children with autism, sensory processing differences, and other special needs learn to swim safely. Our adaptive swim lessons are shaped to your child's unique abilities, using individualized techniques that build confidence and water safety skills at their own pace.

Home Swim Lessons

We bring private swim lessons directly to your home pool, offering the ultimate convenience and comfort for your child. Learning in a familiar environment helps reduce anxiety and allows for focused, personalized instruction without the stress of travel or new surroundings.
