Welcome to Play Strong LLC. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Services
Play Strong LLC provides private and adaptive swim lessons for children of all abilities. Lesson duration, location, and fees are confirmed before each session. Students must be able to follow basic safety instructions. If a student's behavior poses a risk to themselves, the instructor, or others, Play Strong LLC reserves the right to end the session early or discontinue services.
2. Payments
Payment is due at the time of service unless a prepayment arrangement has been agreed upon in advance. Receipts and invoices can be provided for scholarship or reimbursement programs such as Step Up for Students.
3. Cancellations and Late Arrivals
Cancellations made more than 1 hour before the scheduled start time will have a missed lesson credit applied if one is available. If no credit is available, the lesson is forfeited with no refund.
Cancellations made 1 hour or less before the scheduled start time, upon arrival, or after the scheduled start time are not eligible for a credit. The lesson will be forfeited with no refund.
No refunds will be issued once a session has been completed.
If a lesson must end early due to circumstances beyond the instructor's control:
Lessons lasting 30 minutes or less will be charged 50% of the lesson rate.
Lessons lasting more than 30 minutes will be billed in 15-minute increments, with each new increment charged in full once it begins, up to the full lesson rate.
Sessions will end at the originally scheduled time regardless of student arrival, and the full lesson rate will apply. Lessons canceled by the instructor due to weather or unsafe conditions will be rescheduled at no additional cost. See Section 4 for details.
4. Missed Lesson and Refund Policy
Clients in the 4-lesson package are allowed 1 missed lesson credit per month.
Clients in the 8-lesson package are allowed 2 missed lesson credits per month.
Clients in the 12-lesson package are allowed 3 missed lesson credits per month.
Clients in the 16-lesson package are allowed 3 missed lesson credits per month.
Explanation of credits:
Credits represent the dollar value of the missed lesson and will be applied as a discount toward the client's next package purchase. Credits reset on the 1st of each month and expire if the client does not book within 30 days of the credit being issued. Credits cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be transferred outside the household.
Sick day cancellations:
Each student is allowed 1 sick day cancellation per month. A sick cancellation made with at least 1 hour of advance notice will be rescheduled at no cost and will not count against the client's monthly credit allowance. Sick cancellations made with less than 1 hour of notice are subject to the standard cancellation policy in Section 3.
Cancellations due to weather:
Lessons may only be canceled by the instructor due to lightning or heavy rain. Light rain is not grounds for cancellation. If a lesson is canceled by the instructor due to weather or circumstances outside the instructor's control, the affected lesson will be credited toward a future session at no additional cost and is not counted against the client's monthly missed lesson allowance. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before a scheduled lesson, upon arrival, or after the start time are not eligible for a weather credit and are subject to the cancellation policy in Section 3.
Outside of the above, no refunds or credits will be issued.
5. Health Disclosure
Clients are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions, physical limitations, allergies, or disabilities prior to the start of lessons. Play Strong LLC is not liable for complications arising from undisclosed health information.
6. Safety and Liability
All students must follow instructor safety directions at all times. Play Strong LLC is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages except in cases of gross negligence by the instructor. A parent or guardian must be present and within sight during all lessons. Play Strong LLC complies with applicable Florida state regulations governing aquatic instruction for minors.
7. Photo and Video Consent
Play Strong LLC may photograph or video record sessions for the purpose of documenting student progress or for use on our website and social media. By enrolling, you consent to this use unless you notify us in writing prior to the start of lessons that you do not consent. Images or videos will never be shared in a way that identifies a minor by full name without explicit written parental consent.
8. Website Use
You agree not to misuse our website or attempt to access data or systems not intended for your use.

Cancellations made upon arrival or after the scheduled start time will be charged 50% of the lesson rate.
